What is enough is enough so let's move on for the better.
Look, I agree with you that we need to change the way females are portrayed in games by giving them more appropriate attire, but your argument is so brittle.
Look, I'll give you a counter example that's just as valid as what you said.
Oh, you say you hate the bikini armor, huh? I bet if you actually put some on, you would rave about how pretty and sexy you look and feel! Double standard? Hypocrisy? Yes!
See what I did there? I constructed a hypothetical version of you that is based completely on speculation and no facts whatsoever. Then I used this completely baseless version of you to deconstruct your original argument, making me victorious in the debate!
So, for factual basis, I offer a single piece of evidence counter to your argument that men would rage and send death threats to game companies if male game characters were dressed in revealing armor:
Kratos, from the God of War franchise.
Kratos is not sexualized so that women would buy the game, not at all, like the female characters ARE sexualized so that men WOULD buy the game. He sure has no armor on his chest but you cannot compare Kratos to Solange from Code of Princess, for instance. No, seriously! One of the main reasons female on games have pointless armor is to sell their bodies to young men, primarily. Ever heard of male-gaze?
