I think Miri should have a very comfortable clothes, like who can breathe in a vacuum sealed tight outfit? Is that me or everytime I see her I cant breathe maybe bec. the thought of wearing that catsuit makes me feel uncomfortable.

I like your rendition and she's very beautiful too....weird that it reminded me of Dr. Chakwas in her pretty lady days xDD

YES, professional clothing and practical hairdo!  I love it.  Please tell me she is also wearing comfortable shoes!  <3

Why wouldn't you want to wear comfortable shoes to work. But hey what do I know.

The only reason I can think of is "because you're a character designed primarily for sex appeal" >_>

Poor Miranda.  She could have been so much more.   BioWare should hire you for character designs. :3

Haaa, that would be a number. But probably nothing good. I mean I do stuff for work that is at odds with my views. Like I drew that elf chick joke and then turn around and make 3 female warriors in bikini armor cause that what the boss wants. I can't imagine bioware be any different.

As for Miranda. I think she's not only for sex appeal there. I like her story and she is quite interesting character there's a good conflict there but her visual presentation is just at complete odds with that I think.

We have this engineered person who seems to hate it. Hate these things that her father gave her and wants to be recognized for her own thing. So that's what I wanted to do here. Someone who puts on a comfortable attire and goes about doing this Lazarus thing to prove her worth and not have the engineered bits constantly on display.
Sorry for a lengthy reply, but I don't get to talk about these things much so I go on these rants in the comments sometimes )))

I liked Miranda's personality and back-story.  And being really close to my younger sisters, her loyalty mission felt personal for me.

But mostly I just... felt sorry for her.  The costume they put her was all about the tits-and-ass, to the point where, to many fans, that's all she was.  It hid the fact that her best asset was her brain.  Dressing in a skin-tight suit to flaunt the perfect genes didn't mesh with the fact that she hated what her father tried to make her.  This is why I really like your version.  She looks like an intelligent professional.  No need to apologize for the rant!  I agree with it entirely. :3  (Was equally annoyed with the way they turned Ashley from Realistic Soldier Woman into Sexy Battle-Babe for ME3, grr.)

Yeah. I was very surprised when I saw Ash in the game for a first time. I kinda avoided just everything about me3 prior to release, so I was really surprised.
Maybe it's because all of the promotions that she got in such a short time that got to her ... I have no idea )

This has given some sparks of inspiration to me actually...

I've been thinking of writing a ME FanFic making the relations between my Shep(s) and their crew more intimate and personable, rather than the "I have Daddy issues that can totally be resolved if we go here and kill some shit" conversations we tend to get from the crew. Sure they will still be there but I would want to write them to be far more... intriguing in a way. And thinking of Miranda dressed like this more often than in the cat suit version shown in the games.

Thats a good dignified look for Miranda.
Makes her look like the calculating professional she is supposed to be.
How could anyone take her  serious as the Normandy´s XO or on the battlefield, while running arround in a Miss-Fanservice-Catsuit?

She just vacuum-seals herself into that ... I don't know why. Maybe it's a new progressive command technique.

Others have said it before, but this is very good.

Setting aside the Cerberus logo nonsense on everything in ME2, I can imagine Miranda in the body-stocking if her orders were to seduce-distract Shepard (assuming Shepard's preference was of that nature) in an attempt to make Cerberus somehow more palatable to him/her - or seduce-distract anyone, really.

But research-wise, this outfit/appearance is spot on.  And as XO of a vessel which is expected to see serious combat?  This is far better than the body-stocking.

Well she might bring out the sexy suit for a special mission and on some special occasions. But for everyday use ... nah.

I agree with *TacoWrath and ~JulesElyot.  If Miranda looked like this, she would have been more interesting as a character instead of as distracting like some vapid piece of sex-meat they were going for.  I never hated her as a character but her words always came off as hollow as she did not fit the look or have the actions of someone who didn't want to be known as "perfect".

This Miranda looks exactly like a person who wants to be taken seriously.

Wow... you know, I f Miranda actually looked like this in the game, I don't think I would have hated her.  This look says "Cold Professional", rather than the "Bitchy Cheerleader".

You did her justice.

I really, really like this. Not only is it really well executed in a neat style, the design is also thoroughly thought through ... which I honestly don't think all the actual outfits in the games were, or they were made for the sole purpose of attracting the eye of the player. This is more ... solid, I suppose you could say. It makes sense yet manages to keep the style of Miranda too. Really well done!

In ME2 Miranda was one of those characters that gave one message through dialog and exact opposite through visual design. With this I just try to make sense of the character.

I'm of the opinion that a character can be sexy without having to put them in anatomical vacuum-sealed jumpsuit. I mean there's time and place for that but it has to make sense in the context ... and I'm rambling )))

She's a lead on a multi billion project ... and yeah it doesn't look like a really comfortable every day or combat attire.
Also .. no logos for secret terrorist organizations ... just no. It's not a fast-food chain.

I never thought about that, but you are absolutly right :D
Even EDi has it... under the Skin of Eva Core:confused: Brainless!!!
I just remember the scene in ME2 when you come to Mordin, and he find out, after some complicated thoughts, that you work for Cerberus... he only have to look on Jacob's or Miranda's clothes if they are in your team ;)

How about Cerberus registered vessel when you dock. What is TIM smoking ...
Only thing is missing is some ads on the citadel to go and buy Cerberus merch at a local shop.
This kind of thing just destroys immersion for me.

I have to say, i really like this version. The whole less is more. Less skin showing and hair down I feel gives her more of a presence. I've always believed that a professional look was far more attractive then the sultry one she has in the game.

It's something that always bugged me. From the conversations I got a sense that she values persons achievements, that they made on their own and not given to them by genetics or otherwise. And I think this way it's more in line with her "rebellion" against her father like - You engineered this perfect body, so I'm just going to put it in a lab-coat and not emphasize it. So more attention would be drawn to her achievements not her father's engineering. She lets her hair down once in a while and also if the mission calls for it, but who runs around in a jumpsuit all day every day ... that's just silly.
Anyways, that's my thoughts behind this. Am I making any sense ?

Don't forget the high heels. But yeah I totally agree with you. At least give me the option to let her wear the Cerberus Officer uniform at least. But hey that just me and you apparently.

Those heels. I think any designer that suggest high heels for characters that go into any kind of combat should be forced to run laps around the studio in high heels and then come back and think on designs some more.
When I start to think of it ME is a weird series that goes backwards in design, not improving with every iteretion but doing more and more things wrong? so that we can have robo-boobs and robo-cameltoe ... just makes me sad.

I do think the Alt appearance for her was a much better out fit, it has flat shoes..  On a side note did you ever think that Miranda was never really meant to take her "Father's" place, but instead ended up right where she was supposed to be, a Cerberus Operative? I have this whole theory on it. I have way to much free time.
